About Al Palewicz / Residential Sales
Al Palewicz has lived in Miami, Fla. since 1955. After graduating
from the University of Miami with a Bachelor Degree in Education,
he played professional football in the N.F.L. for four years after
which he taught high school English within the Dade
County School System for six years.
Still competitive in sports he has been a crew member on two America's
Cup campaigns: the first in 1986 at Perth, Australia and most recently
in 1999 at Auckland, New Zealand. He is married and has one child.
Being a resident of Miami Dade County for 45 years, his focus is
on residential sales for the Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest
and Miami-Dade areas. He is a full-time realtor who acquired his
Florida real estate license in1995.
During the 1990's aftermath of the Federal government's shutdown
of numerous Savings and Loan, he concentrated on the foreclosure
auctions conducted by the now-defunct Resolution Trust Corporation
(RTC) whose purpose was to auction-off the assets of the failed
Savings and Loan. While representing an out-of -state client who
had made a successful bid on a bulk sale of non-performing mortgages
for seven properties, he became comfortable with; the foreclosure
procedures of Miami-Dade County, zoning ordinances for the city
of Miami, Coral Gables and Dade County, construction objectives
of local builders, collecting estimates for repairs and subsequent
bids from local contractors, and the concerns of numerous neighborhood
associations.
This wealth of hands-on experience and knowledge has been useful
in the area of residential sales. Clients always want to know the
potential of property where-in lies the value of real estate.
From the selection of a property until the day of closing, obstacles
can appear. A wide range of real estate knowledge and experience
helps to make possible a smooth and successful real estate transaction.
